How will my order be packaged?
Prints up to A3 in size will be packaged in a compostable cello back and backed with a thick backing board and posted flat in a board backed envelope. Prints over the size of A2 will be rolled and sent in a tube to minimise the risk of damage.
Originals up to A3 will be sent as the above with extra boards in the envelope and in some cases sent in a box shipped flat.
Ceramics will be wrapped in paper bubble wrap and packed in starch based penuts in a thick double walled box.
I endeavour to use as much recycled & recycle-able material in all my packaging to help minimise the affect on the fragile environment.
What is a Giclée print?
Giclée prints use museum quality inks that are archival and are printed on handmade paper with a slight texture. These prints are the highest quality and the colours on these are extremely vivid with details that match the original paintings.
This service is printed by a local independent printer who I highly recommend using. You can find them here.
How will my order be shipped?
If you selected standard shipping at checkout your order will be posted first class via Royal Mail. This service usually delivers within 2 business days after dispatch from the studio. This service is not recommended for orders with a value of more than £40 including originals.
If you selected express delivery at checkout your order will be posted special delivery with Royal Mail. This is a tracked and guaranteed next day service once dispatched from the studio. This is the recommended service to use if ordering high value goods or original paintings which cannot be replaced if lost in the post.
Can I request a custom painting?
Yes you can! I welcome custom commission enquires for original paintings. I take on limited commissions each year to ensure I can focus full attention to each painting. A commission is usually quite an in-depth process and I require certain information from you before the precess begins. A 50% deposit is required to secure your commission in my calendar. The usual timescale for commissions is 6-8 weeks.
Please note I do not take commissions throughout November & December.
I would to order a print in a size that is not on your website?
Some of the prints I offer can only be printed at the sizes listed on my website. The quality of the prints are something that I will not compromise on and this can be lost when resizing some prints which is why this can not be offered on all prints.
However that been said most prints can be resized so please get in touch.
I want a particular print from one of your original paintings?
I can create a custom print for your from most of my original paintings. Get in touch with me to discuss if this option is available for your chosen painting. The only type of print I offer as a custom is a Giclée print, this service can take up to 10 working days. So be sure to mention in your email with me if there are any time requirements.
